I joined a small team scattered in many locations for the redesign of Chase.com in 2011. The audience was the "greater affluent set", therefore the look was sophisticated, bold, and airy. And "progressive disclosure" was the hot new model of IA design therefore it was also free of clutter.
The ground work was set, a design system was approved, and we worked fast making dozens and dozens of pages each week. There were several hundreds in all. We developed efficient systems for grids, symbol libraries, module types, headers, icons, image styles and for reviews and approvals.
